The Ultima 500 unit has been tested, inspected, and operated by the manufacturer to ensure the highest level of quality. 1. To begin, open the back door, remove the Shipping Cap located on the air inlet of the compressor head. Thread the air intake filter onto the same inlet hole. NOTE: Repeat this step if equipped with a dual air compressor. Please save the shipping cap in case you would ever need to ship or store this unit. These are to make sure oil is not spilled in transition. Note: The compressor could be damaged by running the dental unit without the shipping cap removed. Save this cap for possible shipping or storage needs. 3. Remove the water bottles and fill them with distilled water. The unit has two water bottles, providing the option for antiseptic solution in either one. |
4. Attach the handpieces to their respective cords
Insert the air/water syringe tip firmly into the syringe head. Note: When the compressor reaches full pressure (120psi), a 4 second burst of air is released from the relief valve located behind the pressure switch. This is normal and occurs every time the compressor reaches full pressure.
