2. The Ultima 500 compressor is equipped with an Auto Drain System. The Auto Drain System automatically purges the air holding tank for 2 seconds for every 30 minutes the power to the unit is on. This feature significantly extends the working life of the compressor preventing rust inside the tank. The fluid from the Auto Drain System will collect in the Collection Bottle that is attached to the inside of the dental unit above the compressor. Refer to the “Auto Drain” section in this manual, Page 16 of the user's manual.

Note: Failure to keep fluid level to a minimum in the collection bottle could cause overspray and damage the internal parts of the dental unit.

3. The oil level on the dental unit should be checked regularly. This should be done before the unit is turned on. An access hole is located under the back door, and to the left side of the dental unit, where the oil level sight glass is located (see Fig. 1). Oil level should be 1/2 to 2/3 full (see Fig. 2).

1. Ensure the air line is connected to quick disconnect. (Fig. 1)
   
   
   
2. Connect Suction System Collection Bottle to its quick disconnect. (Fig. 2 and 2a)
   
   
   
   
   
3. Insert Aspiration Tip onto wand. (Fig. 3) (To order: Item # UD0244 )
   
   
   
   
4. Depress button to activate suction. (Fig. 4)
   
   
   
   
5. Run a disinfection solution through system between procedures and at end of day.
   
   
6. Clean out Suction System Collection Bottle as needed between procedures and at end of day. (Fig. 5)
